Portraits of the Foursome Kaisercraft ‘Breathe ‘

Image
Tonight I was inspired by the muted watercolours of Vicky Boutins watercolour brushes. I splashed the background with a lot of water and let the colour do its magic. The accents were mostly from the breathe paper pad and sticker pad. I coloured them lightly with water colour and versatility park ink pads. Clear powder glitter, sequins and wooden accents we added to blend in with the range. I stamped and hand drew the outlines on the page with fine tip marker. A really soft page with my children in black and white allows this page to be very calming like the title. Note- many 3-d dots were used in the creation of this page, this one probably needs to go in a box frame.

You are my sunshine !!

Using a patterned paper with watercolour shades I fussy cut all of the flowers and leaves from the 12 x12. I painted some rainbows, balloons, hearts and hexagons onto watercolour paper . I die cut some circles and layered up my papers behind the photo.

Ink sprays and white paint on stencils created a very simple background . The photo is the main focus in this layout. The colours are pinks, burgundy, navy and some green.

It’s Glam Camp time

This page was inspired by a scrap retreat I went to last year. It was all about girls, pink and bling. Glitter texture paste, watercolour print paper. Mostly Cocoa Vanilla supplies.

Today I tried something a little different. I used some of my dues and cut them out of watercolour paper. I water down some paint and added some tips.  I used my cutouts with white ink pad to create a background on top of my green and blue water colour stripes. Paint blotches added to its outer edges. I have made some matching water colour embellishments to the pages with some simple brush strokes. My papers are layered with 3-D squares. I added some shiny sequins, handwritten tags, yellow seed beads and green twine. The colours I used matched my son’s t-shirt in the photo.
