This page was inspired by a scrap retreat I went to last year. It was all about girls, pink and bling. Glitter texture paste, watercolour print paper. Mostly Cocoa Vanilla supplies.
Under the Sea ..... 49andMarket ‘Shipwreck’ This was a wall embroidery hoop from Spotlight. I created a water colour background with blue and purple watered down Nuvo shimmer dusts. They turned out lovely the shimmery surface cannot be seen in this photo. This frame was created with the Shipwreck range and punch outs were in the 12x12 sheet which I used most of. I didn’t have to fussy cut! That was the best part. I used mini hoops from stamping up and watercoloured a piece of white card. I used a range of colour co-ordinated ribbons and wooden themed embellishments. Everything was raised with 3D dots, the background used sequins and seed beads to make it look like bubbles and sand. I made this for my daughter to decorate her wall. It’s soft and muted and dreamy. Much like a dream catcher. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed making it. Little Moments ‘ Happiness by Cocoa Vanilla Studio’ The inspiration behind this layout was the bright water colour pink/orange tones of the Happiness ( Botanical Bliss Paper CV-HA001 collection ( die cuts , paper) I used Vicki Boutin watercolour markers water Nuvo colour brushes to create my own flowers by hand painting on water colour paper and fussy cutting. The background was created on salmon card stock with Nuvo Atlantis burst and nuvo cherry bomb . The dust was sprayed with water and allowed to create drips down the paper. The speckles created were like lots of hundreds and thousands on the page. The photos was layered up with pink water colour card. That was hand painted to blend in with the page. I used the lid of the mister to create circles by dropping the lid in pink watercolour. I stamped this over the layout. I lightly water coloured the title from CVS Daydream collection. The little scatters that cover the LO were red hearts and blue s...
This idea came about when I decided I wanted to display a cute family picture (2x3 inch photo) for Christmas . I used speckled egg oxide ink pad to create two circles for the background. The papers I used were from Kaisercraft ‘winter wonderland’ I created a background using blue glitter paste and a Tim Holtz tag circle stencil which I used in both corners of this frame to stencil the glitter. I used a felt tip pen and hand drew around the circles to add definition and then started to layer up the ephemera from ‘winter wonderland’ as well stickers with Christmas sentiments on them. I painted in (speckled egg ink) some chipboard hearts that I separated and layered under a car board backed photo. I hand drew a border here also. I finally took the cardboard frame from the photo frame and placed it over the scrapbooking I had done not worrying to much if it overlapped the frame. I finished this project with sequins, painted wooden elements which blended in with the colours...
